1. LIQUID CLEANSERS

Adding vitamins to a hot fudge sundae doesn’t make it healthy. Adding good ingredients to liquid cleansers doesn’t make them any better for your skin.

The vast majority of facial cleansers are in a liquid, gel, foam or rinse-off form. That’s why none of them work.

There are three problems with all cleansers in this form:

• All rinse-off cleansers leave a thin film behind that builds up over time, further drying and irritating your skin.
• The liquid FORM is very drying. Adding some good ingredients doesn’t change its form.
• Liquid cleansers do not dissolve make up or oil. You need a cleansing milk for this purpose.

Try this experiment: Put some lipstick on and then drink water. Notice the lipstick stays fresh. Now eat a few French fries. Like magic – no more lipstick! To dissolve the daily accumulation of make up, oil and impurities, you need something with a little bit of oil in it. Or, instead of a makeup milk cleanser you may want to try cleansing your skin with a little bit of virgin olive oil.

Don’t let the fact that foaming and gel cleansers feel refreshing fool you into thinking they are cleaning or removing make up well. If you want to feel refreshed, just splash your face with warm, and then cold water. This is also naturally toning and firming – without chemicals or dryness!

2. POWDER AND FOUNDATION

The goal of good skin care is to not need to cover up your skin. This is what thousands of women and men have achieved after just a few weeks or months on our skin products.

Frankly, it is difficult to understand how companies that claim to offer cleansers and moisturizers that will result in a beautiful complexion, go on to say you need to cover up your face if you really want it to look good.

We understand that many women feel naked without powder or foundation, but these products actually contribute to the same problems they are designed to cover up. It’s the FORM of powder that is the problem – and liquid foundations aren’t much better. Adding minerals or any other good ingredient doesn’t solve the inherent problems, which are:

*If you’re not using a cleansing milk, and wiping it off with disposable wipes instead of just rinsing, you are not removing your make up at night and it is building up in your pores, causing more and more problems over time.

3. CHEMICAL EXFOLIATION

All chemical exfoliants work the same way, so no matter which one you use, they all produce the same result

Retin-A, Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid and other chemical or so called natural acid exfoliating products work by dissolving the “glue” that holds the skin cells together so they fall off faster than they naturally would, and reveal newer, fresher skin cells below. So basically they work by irritating your skin. But they do not actually remove anything.
