Prevent and Get Rid of Stretch Marks with Natural Creams

prevent and get rid of stretch marksIf you’ve been a regular reader of this blog, you’ll know that we strive to inform and relay the most current and accurate skin care treatments and procedures to our readers. Well, we’ve been doing our part and came across an article that presented some very interesting points about stretch mark removal and we wanted to pass it along to you. It’s not another product that makes promises it will eliminate those ugly marks and then do nothing but take your time and money. It’s been proven effective in both stretch mark prevention and removal – now that’s a powerful stretch mark cream!

Stretch marks don’t only affect pregnant women but can curse anyone with rapid weight gain, for example when the kids are growing faster than weeds and their skin fibers just can’t hold it together. The main reason for stretch marks is that the skin, which is weak to begin with, is actually stretched beyond its limit and tears, which leads to an immune system reaction to close the wound fast. Unfortunately, many times the body tends to over react with its methods and creates inflammation with corrosive chemicals and then follows with scar tissue, which appear as stretch marks from the surface of the skin.

Because stretch marks are located deeper within the dermis, not any ol’ cream can penetrate or reach the affected area. An effective removal or preventative stretch mark cream will include ingredients that address inflammation, breaking down scar tissue and strengthening the skin’s structure. Of course, if you want to prevent pregnancy stretch marks, you’ll need to find a product that can be used during both pregnancy and breast feeding and won’t cause harm or stunt the development of your baby.

In this article, they’ve introduced an all-natural product that does it all with a surprising liquid only found in nature. Its natural enzymes consume, digest and breakdown the damaged skin proteins as they bring oxygen to the cells. The serum also triggers and speeds up the proliferation of fibroblasts,  the cells responsible for the production of all the elements of the skin matrix, repair of wounded tissues and regeneration of healthy skin. Depending on the depth of the scarring and how early they are treated, will determine the amount of time needed for the this stretch mark treatment to work its miracle.

Smoking Effects on the Skin

smoking effects on your skinI think it’s safe to say that everyone knows that smoking is hazardous to their health and with each additional year of tobacco use, one’s life expectancy shortens dramatically. Quitting smoking can be a difficult task, but it’s not impossible and is well worth the effort.  Smoking not only can lead to a whole list of different types of cancer but also heart disease, hypertension, stroke and accelerated signs of aging. Next to sun exposure, smoking is the leading cause of wrinkles and premature aging and is reason enough to search out aging skin care.

How Smoking Affects the Skin

When your body is subjected to tobacco smoke, whether directly or indirectly, free radicals are formed and cause havoc throughout your system by provoking disease and cell damage. The body begins to produce an enzyme that breaks down collagen supplies, reducing the strength and elasticity of the skin.  Blood flow is restricted in the capillaries within the skin preventing oxygen and nutrients to nourish skin cells. Smoking depletes the body’s supply of vitamin A and prevents the absorption of vitamin C, both of which are essential for skin health and protection.

The most apparent effect of smoking is what’s called “smoker’s face”. Skin color begins to turn dull, pale and a yellow or ash color (especially on those with light colored skin) and the resilience decreases considerable. Smoking can also change the texture of the skin, resulting in a leathery, dry looking face. With the continued motion of pursing the lips together to inhale and the squinting of the eyes to avoid smoke, deep wrinkles form around the mouth and eyes.

Reverse the Damage

Depending on how many years of smoking you have imposed upon your skin will greatly affect the amount of recovery you’ll see and time needed to do so. The first thing to do to reverse the damage from smoking is quit smoking. Because the body was created to heal and restore itself, you’ll begin to see changes once the torture of nicotine is taken out of the equation. Next, you’ll want to adjust your diet to include large portions of fruits and vegetables and drink plenty of water to help flush the toxins from the body. Finally, you’ll want to find an effective wrinkle cream that uses all natural ingredients to help speed up the repair and reconstruction of the skin and improve its look and feel.

One of the best ingredients that can be used in an anti-aging cream is the serum from the Helix Aspersa Müller snail. The snail uses this liquid to repair and restore his skin, shell and appendages. Because human skin has a similar skin matrix as the snail, your skin can benefit from the same healing powers without painful side effects. Smoking has caused more injury to your body than you can even see and that’s why an advanced skin care system is needed to rejuvenate your tired, dull and wrinkled face.

This unique formula rebuilds collagen levels and skin’s elasticity; dissolves dead and damaged skin cells and stimulates newer, fresher cells to surface; and replenishes the much needed moisture to give back the youthful appearance you desire.  These special skin renewal activators are proven effective to treat face wrinkles and prevent other signs of premature aging caused by smoking. By combining a natural skin moisturizer with the effort and dedication to quit smoking, you will begin to look and feel younger faster.

Burn Scar Removal with All Natural Ingredients

burn scar removalBurn injuries can be the most damaging wounds because they are more than skin deep. People’s lives are completely altered both physically and emotionally. Appropriate scar treatment can finally remove burn scars to help people move on with their lives with fresh, smooth skin. The best method for burn scar removal is not a surgical procedure but a natural scar removal ingredient that provokes the innate renewal processes of human skin. Thanks to a biological ingredient found in nature, the natural healing of a burn scar is now possible.

Burn Wound Treatment

* First Degree Burns – This type of burn injures only the top layer of skin (epidermis), and is the least serious type of burn because it will usually heal on its own within a few days and will rarely produce a scar.

* Second Degree Burns – These burns not only injure the epidermis but damage the deeper layers of skin (dermis) and usually produce a blister.  Second degree burns normally lead to some sort of scarring and can take one to three weeks to heal.

* Third Degree Burns – Third degree burns damage the dermis and epidermis and often affect other organs, tissues and bones. These types of burns are the most painful since the nerves will also be destroyed and can take a long time to heal. The victim will require some form of hospitalization and cosmetic surgery or skin grafting for effective healing. Scarring is inevitable.

Scar Repair: All-Natural

All natural lotions that contain the serum from Helix Aspersa Muller snails are an excellent solution for burn scars because they are able to release contractures, strengthen fragile tissue, improve the texture and color of skin graft matching, but best of all they don’t produce any side effects. They have even proven effective in fading old, existing scars.

The Magnitude of Using Biological Burn Cream

* If the burns or injuries hasn’t completely healed, hazardous bacteria and microbes are destroyed before they can further irritate the wound, which is critical in maintaining the health of the skin after a burn.

* Injured tissues are dissolved with potent enzymes.

* Skin cells are bound or fused together, and their ability to regenerate is renewed.

* Fibroblast creation is increased, which is essential to successful wound healing.

* Promotes the reconstruction of the skin’s structure and restores elastic fibers.

* The dermis is restored and its natural ability to hold water, recovering its volume, strength and elasticity.

The same serum that the snail uses to regenerate tentacles and eyes can also protect, moisturize, repair, and renew human skin whenever injured. This is a very powerful burn scar treatment that is complete and balanced to restore the skin’s integrity and boost new cellular growth in damaged areas quickly. You, too, can treat skin burns and erase the memory from your skin and your life.

Acne Scar Removal: Natural Exfoliation vs. Chemical Peels

acne scar removalWe live in an era where concoctions, formulas, treatments and products are available to us in abundance for almost every skin condition or dilemma we could possibly face. This can also be a problem because we have to sort through the bad to find the products that actually deliver the results we seek. When it comes to removing acne scars, there are many new treatment options, but again, you need to examine the options to make an informed decision and decide which is best for you and your situation. Today’s question is: Do you opt for chemical peels or go with a natural exfoliation solution?

Not All Chemical Peels Are Bad

These treatments begin with applying a type of acid over the scarred area, which then burns away the top layer of skin. Just like any kind of skin burn, the damaged skin will peel off revealing a new layer of smoother skin. The new layer of skin will appear fresher and clearer because the mild scar tissue has been removed.

Natural Exfoliation Products have Increased in Effectiveness

In the past, natural cosmetic products were perceived in the same category as magic potions; broadcasting wild claims of organic ingredients that sound amazing but deliver nothing. To our advantage, times have changed and current natural products are not only competing, but exceeding the results demonstrated by their chemical counterparts.

Natural exfoliation products are a great example of this. They’ve proven themselves to successfully remove acne scarring better than the more intrusive chemical peels. To demonstrate this point, chemical peels are unable to remove severe scar tissue, while the natural microdermabrasion properties in organic exfoliation products successfully polish away at the scar tissue to leave your skin smoother and free from blemishes.

Side Effects of Chemical Cosmetics

Natural products’ greatest benefit is that they work in harmony with your skin. Acids used for chemical peels, on the other hand, are not quite as gentle and as a result, many side effects are often accompanied with their use. Skin irritation, increased redness and swelling, to more alarming skin problems such as hyperpigmentation and hypopigmentation, increased demarcation lines and other pigment irregularities that prohibit new skin from tanning are all examples of possible adverse reactions from chemical peels.

Protect Yourself – Use a Natural Exfoliation Product

Your skin is precious and should not be taken for granted or used as a science experiment with its many different chemicals. Jeopardizing your skin to corrosive chemical peels can be risky business, especially when there are safe, natural options available that successfully and gently remove acne scars.

The most successful 100% natural scar treatment on the market uses a special ingredient found in the serum secreted by a simple land snail. This acne scar removal solution contains Helix Aspersa Muller glycoconjugates that acts as a natural microdermabrasion, stimulates cellular repair and renewal, as well as deeply moisturizes the skin. Scars are diminished without inflammation, peeling or additional dryness, making it the best and safest option to treat acne scars.

The Importance of Aging Skin Care for All Ages

aging skin care for all agesMost believe that a proper skin care routine should start around your thirties, just when the first fine lines and wrinkles start appearing. But why start when the aging process has already left unwanted marks on your skin? Let’s take a closer look at aging skin care and how it can help to protect skin in different ages.

If you think about it, the skin is our first line of defense against pathogens, infections, injuries, sun damage, weather changes, you name it! With approximately 2 square feet, the skin’s mission is to protect our body from external factors, and if not taken care of, our skin can prematurely age sooner than the rest of our body.

Start in Your Twenties

Starting your anti-aging skin care habit in your twenties is a great way to achieve your main goal; preventing damage. At this age, you should take up a cleansing-toning-moisturizing habit twice a day. Applying a sunscreen year around is imperative to prevent sun damage now and later in life.

Acne is another damaging factor that can haunt your skin in your twenties. Acne breakouts translate to acne scars later in life. It is therefore very important to treat the problem before it is too late. Natural acne treatments are available to gently take care of your skin to prevent the development of pimples and scars.

Keep it Up in Your Thirties

In your thirties, your skin also becomes drier and thicker. Because of this, you need to continue with your cleansing-toning-moisturizing habit, but you might consider implementing exfoliation to your routine. Exfoliating twice a week will help to remove dead cells and increase cell turnover to stimulate collagen and elastin in the skin. This will treat and prevent fine lines and wrinkles.

Age spots are also a concern at this age. Hyperpigmentation problems can be prevented by frequently applying a sunscreen in addition to using a moisturizer that contains inhibitors for the overproduction of melanin. Creams that contain Rumex extract are well known to prevent and reduce hyperpigmentation problems.

Enhance it in Forties

As we enter our forties, sebum, the oil that lubricates our skin, starts decreasing making skin even drier and thicker. Our skin is also fighting collagen breakdown, losing its fight against gravity and are being influenced by hormonal changes due to menopause. Fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, dry skin and acne can also be a problem at this age.

To keep your skin properly hydrated, it’s important to keep your water intake to 8 glasses of water a day. You also need to consider using a thicker moisturizer. Fine lines and wrinkles can be kept at bay by using a wrinkle cream that contains hyaluronic acid and ingredients that contain high antioxidant levels to prevent free radical damage.

To help your skin prevent further sun damage, keep using a sunscreen with a higher SPF in addition to a cream that contains Rumex extract, just like in your thirties.

Taking care of the largest organ of the body, your skin, is vital to keep your self esteem and skin health up to shape. Starting in your twenties and implementing new skin care products as you age is the best anti-aging cure and to maintain your skin healthy and beautiful. Aging gracefully isn’t that hard after all!

Alternative Natural Healing Treatment: Burns

alternative natural healing treatment burnsIn the day and age we live in, the majority seeks out chemical solutions, namely prescription drugs, when they are faced with a medical condition. In the case burn injuries, preventing infection and reducing the pain usually are the highest of priorities. With more and more bacteria becoming resistant to antibiotics, the need for an alternative natural healing treatment is imperative for burn treatments.

It seems that Mother Nature always has a solution for the problems we face. It just sometimes takes awhile to find it or time to open our mind to trying a new alternative that breaks the conventional ways of thinking. Who would have thought that regurgitated flower nectar would become a sweet treat? Bees use stomach enzymes to break down a flower’s sweet liquid into simple sugars before they expel it into the hive pantry to be stored for future use.

Not Just for Recipes

There are Egyptian scripts dated back to 2500B.C. that lists honey as one of the common salves to heal wounds. Up until the 1940’s, when antibiotics were discovered, honey was used to prevent and heal infections, sores, serious wounds and burns.

Many scientific studies have shown the effectiveness of honey in quickly clearing infection from wounds and even suggest that honey may actively promote healing. Honey has incredible antimicrobial powers even against a broad spectrum of serious bacteria and fungi.

Honey Eliminates Bacteria from Burns and Wounds

Honey is comprised of mostly sugar. That’s not big news, but with so much sugar, it leaves very little room for water. This fact makes honey more like a dry sponge that soaks up extra fluid from the wound and, thus, removes the main ingredient needed for bacteria growth – water.

Honey is actually very acidic to the point of being compared to the PH of orange juice or Coca Cola. An acidic environment like this kills bacteria. Note: If the honey becomes diluted and less acidic (for example by the release of body fluids from a wound), bacteria can begin to grow again, so it’s necessary to change the honey dressings often to keep acid levels high.

Honey creates hydrogen peroxide. As many know, hydrogen peroxide is purchased to disinfect wounds, but amazingly there’s a natural enzyme within the honey that when it’s mixed with body fluids, it produces hydrogen peroxide to act as a great antibacterial.

Honey is Great for Burns

When applied as a salve to burns, it cools, eases pain, reduces inflammation and inhibits further tissue damage (scarring) by speeding up the healing process by up to four days. If honey is used on the burn dressings, the gauze won’t stick to the wound, preventing additional pain and skin damage.

For treating a wound, raw honey (unpasteurized) is best and should be stored in a cool, dry place where it’s protected from light. It can be applied directly to open cuts, abrasions and burns and then covered with a piece of gauze. Healing usually occurs quicker than with the use of conventional alternatives such as salves and creams.

Once again, we’ve found a natural cure from our backyard, one that in many cases works better than creams or ointments created in a laboratory somewhere. Natural healing is the better way to go to avoid painful side effects and to see results especially to heal burns. There are also natural burn scar treatments available to fade scars and their burn memories with the use of a liquid created by another small creature – the snail.
