Eliminate Severe Acne Scars with Medical ProceduresTo eliminate acne scars of all shapes and sizes, mild and severe, immediate caution and care should be taken. The more severe your acne scar the more potent the  skin care treatment should be!

The following is a list of optional procedures used to fade, treat and eliminate  acne scars of severe nature and help you secure skin care health:

Laser treatment

A highly recognized treatment to eliminate acne scars, layer by layer. The heat produced by the laser also tightens the skin, smoothing out the scars. This medical procedure uses a combination of laser carbon dioxide (CO2), and/or Erbium: YAG laser.

Punch graft

This procedure involves the physical removal of the tissue containing the scar, and either suture or replacement of the extirpated tissue. There are three main punch techniques used to eliminate acne scars. These punch graft treatments are, Punch Excision, Punch Excision with Skin Grafting and Punch Elevation.

Dermabrasion

Known to be an efficient medical procedure  used  to eliminate acne scars   under local anesthetic. A high-speed brush is used to abrade the skin’s surface and alter the contour of scars. Superficial acne scars may be removed altogether, and deeper scars may be reduced in depth. However, dermabrasion does not work on all types of scars or acne scars, and  may cause pigmentation changes for individuals with darker skin.

Chemical peels

Chemical peels are acidic solutions that are used on the skin lesion. The solution acts on the outermost skin layers – causing them to disintegrate and be ‘peeled’ away to reveal the underlying, newer, unaffected skin. Improve small, depressed acne scars and, at times, larger ones.

Photorejuvenation

A visible broadband light or laser is used in this procedure which injects the acne scar by producing new collagen. This medical procedure commonly takes 3-4 weeks and 5-6 treatments.

Microdermabrasion

An acne scar medical procedure used for improving the overall skin tone and to eliminate acne scars of mild and severe nature. Procedure consists of fine aluminum crystals to produce microdermabrasion effect on the skin. A series of six peels over 1-2 weeks is recommended to eliminate acne scars.

Have in mind; follow up treatments to maintain post surgery results are mandatory.

    It’s interesting that once acne scars have formed, The only solution seems to be some surgical or at least invasive process

    It is for this reason that it is important to highlight early treatment of Acne. If treated properly and with care from the start, the risk of getting acne scars are significantly lessened

    The various methods described above are useful for people wanting to remove acne. I’ interested in laser treatment which is certainly a boon for people affected with acne scars. Surely many people will use this technology to remove acne scars.
