Treat Acne while using your iPhone

AcneApp has released a new application for iPhones that allows users to treat acne while on the phone. There are certain acne treatments that use light to kill the bacteria and inflammation that is associated with acne. With this acne program, one can choose which type of light (red or blue) and hold the devise on the infected area for two minutes each day, thus reducing acne. There hasn’t much testing done on the effectiveness of this, but the creator boasts of its greatness. However, other dermatologists are not jumping on the bandwagon so quickly. Even though it’s true that this type of light can help heal acne, a cell phone doesn’t have the capacity to give off the strength of light needed and the length of treatment time is also debated.

How to Treat Cystic Acne

Cystic acne is a more serious form of acne and consists of painful cysts that are difficult to get rid of. Many people rely on prescription medicines to help treat cystic acne, but recently there has been talk of a natural acne product that uses the liquid secreted from snails to heal acne. Although the snail may seem like a delicate creature, their serum is powerful enough to renew and restore their skin, shell and tentacles when necessary and kill bacteria that could be dangerous to their health. Human skin responds similarly when exposed to this acne cream in it kills acne bacteria and reduces production of sebum and inflammation.

Acne treatments don’t have to be harsh to your skin to see results.

Should I call the Doctor for my Acne?

Nobody likes to see the doctor, but the time comes when it just becomes a necessity especially when it comes to treating acne. So, how do you know when you should make the appointment or just buy another acne treatment cream to help control acne? Although there is no right answer to this and you should really listen to your own body, if you still don’t see results after trying just a few over the counter acne treatments, it’s time to make the call. Dermatologists are trained to know the differences between acne types and which medicine is the best to heal acne. If you have painful cystic acne, sadly normal acne products probably won’t give you much relief, and you’ll need the help of a professional to reduce acne.

Nourishing Skin with Rose Hip Oil

rose hips oilAs the largest organ in the body, the skin depends on the proper amount of vitamins and essential fatty acids (EFA) to maintain a healthy state and regulate cell and tissue growth. Fortunately for us, nature provides us with a type of oil that contains both Vitamin A and EFAs. Rose hip oil is all natural and has shown positive results for different skin types and a wide range of skin problems.

Rose hip oil has been used in cosmetic and dermatologic products for more than 25 years and contains oil from the seeds located within the hips of a wild rose bush that grows in the fertile, rainy plains of the Southern Andes of Chile. It’s also known by the name, ”Rosa Mosqueta”. This oil is a moisturizing remedy for dry skin and commonly used for acne treatment and anti aging skin cream products.

Rose Hip Oil and Vitamin A

Most people see the effects of improper Vitamin A levels within the complexion first as the skin becomes dry and flaky. Vitamin A is necessary for the maintenance and healing of skin tissue and it doesn’t take much of a decrease of A levels to see a change. Boosting intake of fruits and vegetables can help but consuming more than the daily-suggested amounts of Vitamin A won’t improve skin conditions. The best way to see a difference is with concentrated topical application of Vitamin A.

Through medical studies, reduction in fine lines and wrinkles, alleviation of acne and psoriasis relief were all documented from using skin care products including this nutrient. Rose hip oil is the natural skin care product that research has proven to contain a highly bio-available form of Vitamin A, specially trans-retinoic acid that aids the body in sustaining healthy skin cells.

Rose Hip Oil and Essential Fatty Acids

If your skin is dry, prone to inflammation and frequently blemished with pimples, you may be lacking essential fatty acids, elements that are crucial to the creation of the skin’s innate oil barrier. If your body does not have the right supply of EFAs, it begins to create a harsher form of sebum (the body’s natural oil), which is a root cause for many acne problems.

The main component of rose hip oil is a natural form of topical Vitamin A that has regenerative and anti-inflammatory properties. Blood irrigation, epidermis regeneration and new tissue creation are improved as a result of this great biological skin care product.

There is also evidence healing properties of rose hip oil on scars, even those in the dermal layer or caused by surgery. Also, it reduces hyper-pigmentation, diminishes scar protrusion (hypertrophia) and loosens fibrous chords.

Start treating your acne, scars, wrinkles, dry and sun damaged skin with a natural skin care solution containing the secretions of the Helix Aspersa Muller, the common garden snail, and all the nutrients from rose hip oil to naturally restore the healthy beauty that everyone longs for.
