In order to prevent premature aging, there are four elements you should avoid to look younger longer.

1. Sun
2. Wind

4. Air pollution

Can We Blame Gravity Aging Skin?

As we get older, the production of collagen and elastin slows down within the skin. These elements are necessary for your skin to stay firm and keep its form. This is a gradual process, but there are several other factors that can increase the rate at which our skin ages.

UV rays, exercise & diet habits, smoking, sleeping positions, facial expressions and even gravity have a huge influence on premature aging. We don’t think about it much, but gravity is always pulling on us including our skin. With less collagen and elastin in our skin, it becomes easier for wrinkles to form, ears to get longer, eyelids to droop and cause the the lower lip to get bigger and the upper lip to get narrower.

Unless you move to the moon, you can’t do much to escape the forces of gravity, but there are other things you can do or stop doing to lessen the blow of aging skin.

Unusual Skin Care Treatments for Youthful Looking Skin

If you’re like many people, you’ve tried several different wrinkle creams only to be disappointed in their results. Most anti-aging treatments on the market are mixtures of active chemical ingredients that are harsh on the skin or don’t follow through with the promises they’ve made. Some people are turning to products that are undoubtedly stranger, but consequently more organic and naturally effective in promoting healthy, younger looking skin.

Delay the First Signs of Aging

Sheep Placenta is known for its ability to nourish and enrich the skin and is packed full of vitamins, amino acids, rich growth factors, hormones and antibodies, and other concentrated nutrients that can rejuvenate organic tissue and help in maintaining a youthful complexion. It also has potent detoxifying qualities that prevent age spots and patchy discoloring of the skin and hyaluronic acid that helps the skin to heal quickly and prevents scarring.

Placenta creams help to hold in moisture, deter wrinkles and premature aging. Researchers are unable to fabricate the properties of placenta in a laboratory, thus affirming that one should take advantage of the contemporary and biological properties that placenta creams offer for younger looking skin. If the placenta is rich enough to nourish a developing fetus, just imagine what it can do for your skin.

Snake venom, particularly from cobras that produce neurotoxic venom, obstructs nerve impulses and causes paralysis. When used as a skin care product, the appearance of wrinkles are reduced, much like the use of Botox but more powerful. This venom treatment works by lessening the amount of muscle contraction in the targeted area, instead of paralyzing it, meaning that it does not limit a person’s ability to express themselves.

The venom’s amino acids block the nerve signals telling muscles to contract, which helps to stop wrinkles from forming and preserve your smooth complexion. A synthetic version of the venom is made into a natural skin care cream that is applied topically to the skin to tighten wrinkles and fight premature aging with results similar to Botox, but in a safer, less invasive and a more biological approach.

Natural snail serum is a very efficient skin renewal system and can help several different skin problems. Snails, in their natural habitat, are naturally exposed to many harsh conditions, but have a secret weapon. They secrete their serum over their skin and shell that heals, restores, renews, detoxifies and shields them from everyday occurrences.

Snail slime contains antimicrobial peptides that effectively protect from infection even though their skin is continually exposed to environmental pollution, harmful sun rays, and free radicals. Scientists have proven the similarities between human skin and that of the snail especially when it comes to the type of collagen and elastin connective tissues. A skin care cream that contains snail serum not only moisturizes but has the natural ability to hold in moisture.

When the conventional anti-aging treatments have failed to give you the results that you desire, it may be time to turn to more extreme measures to delay premature wrinkles. Look for natural skin renewal products or biological treatments that can greatly improve your skin, naturally.

Prevent & Reduce Forehead Wrinkles

Forehead wrinkles can be one of the first signs of premature aging and difficult to reverse once they appear. Sun exposure is the number one cause of wrinkles, so sun avoidance and a good sunscreen are an absolute must. Next, make sure you are drinking plenty of water because when you start to dehydrate, your skin will show it. Avoid smoking as well as second hand smoke to prevent skin damage and collagen loss. Finally, get sufficient rest. While sleeping, your body uses the time to renew itself, improve texture and restore damaged cells.

Wrinkles can be reduced and prevented, but it will take some time and discipline.

Best Wrinkle Cream Found in Cyber Space

Living in modern days, cyber space has become the best way to search for the best eye wrinkle creams. This is what you need to look for:

*A facial cream that will provide extra moisture. We lose the ability to retain moisture as we age, so it’s vital to find a moisturizer that is meant for our skin type. Even oily skin needs to moisturize. A moisturizer will also help the skin to fight external factors like pollution and weather/temperature changes.

Snail secretion or Helix Aspersa Muller Glycoconjugates will help with just that. It will restore the water holding molecules in your skin to prevent loss of moisture. This ingredient will also boost fibroblasts (collagen and elastin) to provide strength and elasticity.

*An ingredient that will help your skin to fight aging. Aging is inevitable, but the skin care industry has given us the possibility to prevent skin aging. It’s important to use a skin care cream with the right ingredients.

Hyaluronic Acid is a very well known ingredient that we actually produce within our bodies, but like many other properties, production slows down as we age. In a topical form, hyaluronic acid will help the skin with tissue repair in addition to hydration. This ingredient helps to plump up the skin.

*A product that will protect your skin from sun damage. The best products here are of course sunscreens with a SPF above 15. Using a sunscreen under your makeup will make a significant difference in how your skin is affected by the sun. Note that this product must be used year around.

If you are concerned with age spots, rumex extract is the ingredient to look for. It’s a melanin inhibitor which means that it will prevent the formation of age spots or hyperpigmentation.

If you are a newbie in the anti aging world, don’t worry. There are many wrinkle creams in cyber space that can help your complexion. A product that combines snail serum, rumex extract and hyaluronic acid is the best way to fight off the signs of premature aging. If you alter your habits and start thinking healthy, you’ll soon see a significant improvement, and your skin will look brighter, younger and smoother.

Age Spot Removal Treatment – Think Twice about Using Hydroquinone

Age Spot Removal TreatmentAge, liver, brown or dark spots are all consequences of sun damage and these imperfections usually appear in your late 40s, although they can also appear at a younger age. The sun is in fact the number one cause of premature aging and wrinkles, and although we love it, we must take precautions. Hydroquinone is a well known treatment for age spots and hyperpigmentation problems, but this topical treatment isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be. Find out why you should think twice about using Hydroquinone as an age spot removal treatment.

Hydroquinone is one of the most well known skin whitening and bleaching treatments for the skin. Fair skin tones are more benefited from such treatment than darker skin tones; however, there are multiple factors about this treatment that might make you think twice about using it.

The Draw Backs of Hydroquinone

There are several restrictions when applying Hydroquinone, these are just a few:

*Don’t apply the product in skin that is sunburned, wind-burned, dry, chapped, irritated or on a wound. Applying the product on areas with these symptoms can make the problem even worse, so you should always wait until the problems or conditions have healed properly.

*Don’t use with products that can cause skin irritations like hard soaps, shampoos, skin cleansers, hair coloring, hair removers or waxes, skin products with alcohol, spices or lime.

*Don’t expose your skin to the sun. Direct sunlight or artificial UV light (tanning beds) can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight which may result in sunburn. If you need to be out in the sun, use a sunscreen with a high SPF and protective clothing.

Side Effects

Treatments with Hydroquinone also come with a bunch of side effects that you should seek medical attention if you suffer from any of the following depicted below:

*Hives

*Difficulty Breathing

*Burning or Stinging

*Swelling of your Face, Lips or/and Tongue

Best to Prevent

The sun is very damaging to our skin, especially if you don’t use any protection. A sun block above SPF 15 is the best way to go. Apply abundantly, focusing on the areas that you expose the most; face, neck, shoulders, arms and back of the hands, and remember that you need to apply sunscreens year around. If you have a job where you need to be outdoors, apply the sun block frequently and use hats, sunglasses and clothing that can protect you from UV rays. By doing something as simple as applying a sun block, you’ll be able to prevent the formation of age spots.

It is safe to say that Hydroquinone is probably not the best age spot treatment out there because of the many factors that can make your skin react by using this treatment.  The best way to go is to use a sun block year around, and if you want a treatment for age spots, try natural skin care creams with Rumex extract (melanin inhibitor) to treat your skin gently and effectively without side effects.

Anti-Aging Skin Care – 5 Age Defying Foods

Anti-Aging Skin CareHave you noticed that some people look a lot younger than their actual age? The first thing that comes to mind is Botox or maybe just good genes but have you ever thought that diet or foods can be a significant factor? Aging skin care can be achieved by consuming age defying foods. Find out the top 5 foods that can slow down the aging process of your skin.

Eating the right foods can make a huge difference in how well your body responds to aging. Not only is a healthy diet good for your body and skin, but it can also keep away more serious conditions such as cancer and heart disease. Find out what foods you should be stocking your fridge with to reduce the signs of aging.

Anti-Aging Foods

Spinach

Spinach is a great veggie to have around because this leafy vegetable keeps our skin rejuvenated. In fact, spinach, among other leafy greens, supports skin cell turnover: a process that keeps cell growth and development flawlessly. It contains vitamin A and if you lack vitamin A in your diet, your skin can become dry, tough and scaly.

Salmon

Fish in general is known to calm inflammation of the skin and fatty fishes such as salmon are at the top list of foods because they are high in fatty acids. Fatty acids are essential and key to achieve healthy skin. Omega-3 keeps the cell membranes healthy and helps nutrients to enter the cells and exit toxins. Basically, if you add salmon to your diet ,you’ll soon appreciate a more supple and youthful complexion.

Tomatoes

As we know, the sun is one of the main factors that contribute to premature aging. Don’t throw away your sunscreen, but stock your fridge with tomatoes. Tomatoes are known to protect your aging-skin from excessive sun exposure because it contains Lycopene. Lycopene is something you want to have in your diet because it protects the skin from oxidation caused by sun damage which can turn into wrinkles. Raw is better than cooked, so add tomatoes to all your salads with a little bit of olive oil to help the body absorb the Lycopene better.

Blueberries

All berries are nutritious and very good for skin care, but blueberries are the best of all of them. These dark berries are packed with antioxidants which targets free radicals that can otherwise weaken and damage skin cells. When added to your diet, these potent, yet tiny berries, protect your skin cells from damage making your skin look and feel younger for longer.

Chocolate

Yes, you read right, Chocolate! Chocolate is feared by many because there are many myths out there that claim that this delicious food can trigger breakouts or make you gain weight. Regular consumption of dark chocolate increases the skin’s fight against UV light, reduces roughness in skin texture and increases blood flow to the skin and subcutaneous tissues promoting skin plumpness. Since chocolate does contain a lot of sugar and fat, it’s of course recommended to consume this yummy food in small amounts.

What are you waiting for? Run to your nearest store and stock up your fridge with spinach, salmon, blueberries, tomatoes and chocolate for skin renewal and to turn back the clock. These healthy foods will not only make you feel better, but you will also notice a significant improvement in your skin. Anti aging skin care doesn’t need to be difficult and brings a whole new meaning to aging gracefully!

Smoking Effects on the Skin

smoking effects on your skinI think it’s safe to say that everyone knows that smoking is hazardous to their health and with each additional year of tobacco use, one’s life expectancy shortens dramatically. Quitting smoking can be a difficult task, but it’s not impossible and is well worth the effort.  Smoking not only can lead to a whole list of different types of cancer but also heart disease, hypertension, stroke and accelerated signs of aging. Next to sun exposure, smoking is the leading cause of wrinkles and premature aging and is reason enough to search out aging skin care.

How Smoking Affects the Skin

When your body is subjected to tobacco smoke, whether directly or indirectly, free radicals are formed and cause havoc throughout your system by provoking disease and cell damage. The body begins to produce an enzyme that breaks down collagen supplies, reducing the strength and elasticity of the skin.  Blood flow is restricted in the capillaries within the skin preventing oxygen and nutrients to nourish skin cells. Smoking depletes the body’s supply of vitamin A and prevents the absorption of vitamin C, both of which are essential for skin health and protection.

The most apparent effect of smoking is what’s called “smoker’s face”. Skin color begins to turn dull, pale and a yellow or ash color (especially on those with light colored skin) and the resilience decreases considerable. Smoking can also change the texture of the skin, resulting in a leathery, dry looking face. With the continued motion of pursing the lips together to inhale and the squinting of the eyes to avoid smoke, deep wrinkles form around the mouth and eyes.

Reverse the Damage

Depending on how many years of smoking you have imposed upon your skin will greatly affect the amount of recovery you’ll see and time needed to do so. The first thing to do to reverse the damage from smoking is quit smoking. Because the body was created to heal and restore itself, you’ll begin to see changes once the torture of nicotine is taken out of the equation. Next, you’ll want to adjust your diet to include large portions of fruits and vegetables and drink plenty of water to help flush the toxins from the body. Finally, you’ll want to find an effective wrinkle cream that uses all natural ingredients to help speed up the repair and reconstruction of the skin and improve its look and feel.

One of the best ingredients that can be used in an anti-aging cream is the serum from the Helix Aspersa Müller snail. The snail uses this liquid to repair and restore his skin, shell and appendages. Because human skin has a similar skin matrix as the snail, your skin can benefit from the same healing powers without painful side effects. Smoking has caused more injury to your body than you can even see and that’s why an advanced skin care system is needed to rejuvenate your tired, dull and wrinkled face.

This unique formula rebuilds collagen levels and skin’s elasticity; dissolves dead and damaged skin cells and stimulates newer, fresher cells to surface; and replenishes the much needed moisture to give back the youthful appearance you desire.  These special skin renewal activators are proven effective to treat face wrinkles and prevent other signs of premature aging caused by smoking. By combining a natural skin moisturizer with the effort and dedication to quit smoking, you will begin to look and feel younger faster.
