Flavored water is a good option but some have added calories, which is a concern for some. If you can drink un-caffinated tea without sugar, it has added benefits of antioxidants and will count as part of your daily quota.
Even though pure water is the best and most recommended, for some people they need a little flavor to be able to drink their 6-8 glasses a day.

Does it have to be pure water? What about tea & flavored bottled water?

It makes sense that if we are made up of 70%+ water, that by replacing it constantly we are doing a good thing. I also agree that there are so many toxins in our environment these days. By one estimate that I read a while a go - there are 5,000 new chemical compounds introduced into our environment every year. Most of these have not been properly tested for safety for humans or animals.

Great post - thanks for the reminder to keep my water intake up.

I've heard that the majority of medical ailments are a result of people not drinking enough water.

I think I'm going to grab myself a glass of agua right now. :-)

Great tips: as the largest organ of the body, I think it's amazing how few people really think to give it the care it needs. Drinking water is such a simple stuff that is overlooked by far too many.

I'm big into water therapy too. In fact, my life has been in jeopardy because of water imbalances and electrolyte imbalances. For the past few years I've been struggling to understand just what a place water plays in my health.

You're so right about this: "Be sure to water your skin every day with 6-8 glasses of water, and you´ll be on your way to the gorgeous skin that you´ve always dreamed of."

Once I began drinking enough alkaline water, my skin improved dramatically! So I would add just one little word to your presentation...alkaline. Until just recently I didn't even know water could be acidic and harmful...

Change your water, change your life!

Thanks for your input...

Water at the cellular level is an incredible study. You are so right about the benefits of hydration and the very damaging results of dehydration. Yet it's really almost too simple for us to believe.

Spending a ton on skin care products and not drinking enough water is all too common.

Here's to drinking water! Cheers!

This is great information. I actually have to set alarms for me to remember to drink enough. I get so focused for such long periods of time that I forget. Thanks for reminding me!!

I have friends who drink LOTS of water and it's obvious when I look at their skin and complexion. You can really tell!

Thanks again!

Yes, it's nice to be reminded of the simple things in life sometimes. In an age where we are completely over ridden with all sorts of products claiming, this or that, it's good to know that usually it's the basics that are most important.

I'm glad to say, that if it's one thing I do drink a lot of, it's water!

Thanx for the article..
