BIOSKINBALM Is The Best All Natural Eczema Treatment Cream & Dermatitis Relief Product

BIOSKINBALM is a rich textured cream that keeps your skin moisturized by increasing the water holding molecules in the skin and the surface lipids. It also prevents and relieves eczema itching, irritation, dermatitis skin rashes and rosacea.

The only way the skin can truly be moisturized is through increasing the skin’s internal synthesis of new proteoglycans and glycosaminoglycans (GAGs). Those are complex sugar molecules that hold water in the skin in quantities equivalent to a thousand times their own weight and are produced when the fibroblasts that reside in the basal layer of the epidermis are stimulated by growth factors.

true moisturizing

Researchers from the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center In New York have evaluated the regenerative properties of the core ingredient that powers all our skin care products using multiple approaches. They found that it possesses strong antioxidant capabilities and growth factor like activity that induces fibroblast proliferation. Fibroblasts are responible for producing all the cells, tissues and molecules of the skin.

A complementary mechanism is provided by the fact that the secretion promotes ECM (Extra Cellular Matrix) assembly composed of collagen and elastin fibers, which is essential for wound healing and tissue’s elasticity.

Researchers from the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York wrote: “Finally, the secretion inhibits Matrix Metalloproteinases (MMP) production, which limits the extent of the damage during wounding and scar formation. MMP are naturally produced enzymes that help regulate the skin`s ability to repair itself. Together, these mechanisms contribute to the observed beneficial effects of the snail secretion and support its use in regenerative therapy.”

What is Eczema (ek´zêma)?

Eczema is a general term that references any superficial inflammatory process involving primarily the epidermis (the outer layer of the skin), marked early by redness, itching, minute papules and vesicles, weeping, oozing, and crusting, and later by scaling, lichenification (thickening of the skin) and often pigmentation.

Eczema is a common allergic reaction in children but it also occurs in adults, usually in a more severe form.

Childhood eczema often begins in infancy, the rash appearing on the face, neck, and folds of elbows and knees. It may disappear by itself when an offending food is removed from the diet, or it may become more extensive and in some instances cover the entire surface of the body. Severe eczema can be complicated by skin infections.

Childhood eczema may persist for several years or return after the child is older.

People suffering from childhood eczema may develop another allergic condition later, most often hay fever or asthma. Eczema is sometimes caused by an allergic sensitivity to foods such as milk, fish, or eggs. Inhalant allergens such as dust and pollens rarely cause eczema.

Treatment involves the use of soothing baths, moisturizing creams, topical steroids, and oral antihistamines to alleviate itching but unfortunately they all have undesired side effects.

Dermatitis (der´mah-ti´tis) — Inflammation of the skin.

Dermatitis can result from various animal, vegetable, and chemical substances, from heat or cold, from mechanical irritation, from certain forms of malnutrition, or from infectious disease. In some cases, dermatitis may have a psychologic rather than a physical cause.

The symptoms may include itching, redness, crustiness, blisters, watery discharges, fissures, or other changes in the normal condition of the skin. The treatment of dermatitis varies greatly and is determined by the cause. Cortisone-containing creams, lotions, and ointments are frequently prescribed as a palliative measure.

Contact Dermatitis

An immune system skin response marked by itching, swelling, blistering, oozing, and scaling. It is caused by direct contact between the skin and a substance to which the person is allergic or sensitive. The irritation or rash usually occurs only on that area of the body that has come into contact with the substance.

The most common form of allergic contact dermatitis is that caused by POISON IVY, OAK, OR SUMAC; nickel in jewelry; and latex gloves. Other plants, too, sometimes cause an allergic reaction. Contact dermatitis may also be caused by paper, industrial oils, medicines, cosmetics, perfumes, mouthwashes, deodorants, rubber, plastics, metals, and clothing made of various materials and treated with certain preservers and dyes.

Irritant Contact Dermatitis

A non-allergic type of CONTACT DERMATITIS due to exposure to a substance that damages the skin rather than acting as a sensitizer or allergen. A non-allergic form, irritant contact dermatitis, may be induced by a substance acting as an irritant rather than as a sensitizer or allergen.

Some soaps, detergents, and other cleansing products can cause a condition of the hands often referred to as irritant contact dermatitis (popularly called “housewives” dermatitis or dishpan hands”). According to dermatitis researcher Dr. Howard I. Maibach, 80% of Dermatitis is irritant and 20% is allergic.

Itching associated with Eczema and Dermatitis

The presence of itching is so characteristic of eczema that most dermatologists won’t make a diagnosis without it. Atopic eczema has been called “the itch that rashes” The itching that occurs with this condition is extremely severe and intense, and a child will scratch so hard that the skin will be broken.

Once there is a break in the skin it becomes the portal of entry for bacteria to enter the blood stream and cause a secondary bacterial infection. It is important to focus on relieving the itch not trying to stop the child from scratching.

Factors that can trigger an eczema outbreak

  • Dry skin
  • Sweating (neck, bends of elbows and knees)
  • Sensitivity to irritants in environment
  • Sensitivity to allergens
  • Infection
  • Stress and anxiety
  • Changes in temperature or humidity
  • Irritating clothing (especially wool)
  • Food allergies
  • Topical medications

It is important to know that there is NO CURE for dermatitis or eczema. The exact cause of eczema is not known.

PREVENTION: ALWAYS KEEP THE SKIN MOISTURIZED

Avoid contact with any known substances that can cause the skin to break out. This could be food, clothing, plants, chemicals, metals, etc.

  • Limit bathing.
  • Water and soaps strip the natural oils from the skin causing drying of the skin.
  • Bathe using lukewarm water because hot water will dry skin.
  • Use a mild soap and very little of it to wash important areas.
  • Use a towel to blot the skin dry. Rubbing can cause irritation to the skin.
  • Avoid using bubble bath in tub water.

In cold climates (winter)

  • Use a humidifier to add moisture to the environment especially the bedroom while sleeping.
  • Dry heat in a home will cause dryness of the skin and cause itching.
  • Dress in layers so it will be possible to add or remove layers when needed.
  • Wear clothes made of cotton fabrics. Wool, polyester and nylon fabrics are especially irritating to the skin.
  • Permanent press clothing has formaldehyde resins in the fabric and can cause allergic contact Dermatitis in those that are sensitive.
  • Use BIOSKINBALM daily to prevent moisture loss, itching and irritation for hours.

In warmer (summer) climate

  • Keep environment cool (air conditioning) especially when sleeping.
  • Wear light cotton bedclothes.
  • Avoid activities outside when it is hot especially during a flare up. Sweating can cause itching.
  • Wear clothes made of cotton fabrics. Cotton is less irritating and will absorb perspiration and keep the skin cool.
  • Use BIOSKINBALM daily to prevent moisture loss, itching and irritation for hours.

(ALWAYS use sun block)Use BIOSKINBALM as a skin protectant daily to prevent moisture loss, itching and irritation.

Dry skin associated with eczema can cause itching. It is not known what will trigger an outbreak of eczema or when it will happen, so always take preventive measures.

IT IS BETTER TO PREVENT THE OUTBREAK THAN HAVE TO TREAT IT.

Skin should ALWAYS be protected even when there are no sings of irritation.

The skin, the largest organ of the body, is a waterproof barrier that protects all the other organs against infection, injury, and harmful sun rays. One of the biggest challenges of AD is to prevent a flare up, and maintain a safe
and healthy skin environment.

Many of the popular moisturizers in the market also cause acne breakouts.

DO NOT USE COMMERCIAL MOISTURIZERS. Moisturizers contain chemicals that are absorbed in your skin to attract water, which may lead to an increased water-pressure in the true skin, which pinches off sebum canals, causing acne if also much sebum is produced.

To protect your outer skin from dehydration you instead should use a fingertip of OIL. Spread that all over your face after you have made your face a tiny little bit moist by spraying some low mineral bottle water with a plant spray (not so much that drops are formed; just that you feel it but don’t clearly see it).

Cosmetic moisturizers do not moisturize the skin, but only block the normal loss of water from the skin’s surface. For very dry skin that has excessive water loss, these products can be helpful for a time. But they also hydrate (wet) and loosen the skin’s protective outer proteins and degrade the protective qualities of these proteins. The only way the skin can truly be moisturized is via the skin’s internal synthesis of new proteoglycans and glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) which hold water in the skin.

BIOSKINBALM initially attracts moisture to your skin and then it speeds the formation of water holding molecules as well as new collagen and elastin cells that give the skin strength and elasticity.

BIOSKINBALM produces a natural rebuilding of the skin, removes imperfections, rebuilds collagen and elastin fibers that tighten skin, and increases the amount of glycosamoinoglycans, the moisture-holding proteins that give skin its firmness.

Cosmetic products that contain collagen, or elastin, or DNA have no effect on the skin’s production of collagen and elastin, and have no effect on the skin’s firmness or elasticity, and also have no effect on the rate of skin renewal. They only serve to attract water to the surface of the skin.

Only collagen and elastin that is produced within the skin helps improve skin firmness and elasticity.

Recommendation: Use natural products that kill germs, clean debris, and open pores without causing any irritation or side effects. Better choose one which also helps to regenerate damaged tissues.

BIOSKINBALM is the only natural skin care product that is NOT merely a concoction of chemical compounds and pharmaceuticals, but rather uses a substance found in Nature that is created by a living being expressly to moisturize protect and – here’s the important part – regenerate its skin.

For thousands of years people in Asia, Africa and South America have used extracts from plants, frog skin or snail secretions to promote healing of wounds, burns and skin infections. Recent advances in medical science have started to unlock the magic of these traditional methods of cure. Discoveries of biologically active peptides and proteins in snail body and mucins (Kubota Y et al., 1985) in frog skin (Zasloff, 1987) and in plants (Broekaert et al., 1995) explain the beneficial effects of these natural treatments. The bioactive peptides are extremely effective against a range of microbes and are therefore named antimicrobial peptides.

Staphylococcus Aureus and other bacteria are present on 90% of eczema cases. Bacteria binds more readily to skin that is inflamed & can make the eczema outbreak worse because of secretions called super-antigens. These allergy-inducing substances activate the immune cells in the skin, causing them to release substances that further increase inflammation. Controlling bacteria on the skin can help control the eczema.

The magic of nature is also part of our own skin defense system.

Mammals are born with antimicrobial peptides deployed as an important defense against microbial invasion (Gallo and Nizet, 2003). The skin is a protective interface between internal organs and the outside environment. It is exposed daily to thousands of potential pathogens, a host of toxins and physical stress. In order to face these challenges, skin epithelium functions as a physical barrier and has an active immunological role in the identification of microbes as well as in the production of cytokines and defense molecules such as antimicrobial peptides. The number of reports demonstrating the presence and upregulation of antimicrobial peptides in human skin is increasing and reflects the significance of these peptides in skin protection and treatment.

The fact that the snail glycoconjugates contains glycoproteins that kill bacteria and also naturally induces the expression of endogenous antimicrobial peptides that fight infection has been known for years and scientists have focused on replicating its bioactive molecules (by biosynthesis) in the laboratory. This is a promising new venue for research, creating effective drugs and patenting them, but bringing a drug to clinical trial is time consuming and expensive. It is estimated that it takes $300 million to bring a drug to market. This cost covers every thing from discovery, identification, synthesis and clinical trials. This process may also take 10 or more years to accomplish.

Discovered by keen observation and a fair dose of chance

Fortunately by chance a snail farm in Chile noticed that snail handlers had exceptionally smooth hands, and any cuts, scrapes or abrasions to their hands healed unusually quickly and without scars. By the same time a Doctor in Spain observed that snails secrete mucous when exposed to ionizing radiation (X ray and gamma radiation used for cancer radiotheraphy) and it protects them from degenerative effects.

Their curiosity led them to experiment with the substance on human skin, research on what’s in it and clinical trials. They confirmed the substance yields scar free healing of injuries, cuts, scrapes and restores skin health after bruising caused by cancer radiation treatments and heals skin even after chemical burns. The formulation of a balm and the experience of thousands of people with skin ailings has allowed us to persevere in making the substance available naturally in the form of a non-prescription topical cream (for application on the skin).

The antibacterial factor of the snail mucus is a glycoprotein whose molecular weight (MW) is about 160,000. Comp Biochem Physiol C. 1985; 82(2):345-8. It kills both gram-positive (Bacillus subtilis and Staphylococcus aureus) and gram-negative bacteria (Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa), but only in their growing states. Studies of the morphology of bacteria affected by the glycoprotein in the secretions have shown that it lengthens the bodies of Escherichia coli by three to seven times, damages the surface of Staphylococcus aureus and sinks its cytoplasmic membranes into the cytoplasm.

By blocking the microbial pathway to the blood stream, this biological complex allows your immune system to heal the damage in an environment similar to that in which a broken bone heals inside the body, thus avoiding costly scar treatments.

Treatment of Skin Irritations & Skin Infections Without the Pitfalls of Most Products

The balm helps to relieve the symptoms of dryness, irritation, rosacea, acne, dermatitis, and eczema, and prevents infections of the skin without the pitfalls of pharmaceutical antibiotics or the side effects of harsh chemicals commonly found in topical skin products.

Skin Regeneration.

The biological ingredients in the balm also speeds cell regeneration. And it repairs lesions inflicted to the cells that line the sebum canals by sebum overflow or clogged pores. It regenerates skin afflicted by injuries due to accident, scratching, burns, surgery, dermabrasion, laser, or other causes. It dissolves plugged pores that block sebum outflow and “digests” excess keratin formations found in actinic keratosis and keratosis pilaris by the action of enzymes that break them down into their amino acid components.

Glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), Antimicrobial Peptides & Skin Regenerating Triggers

The secretions of snails contains sulfated glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), present as protein-free strongly acidic polysaccharides.

GAGs, through their binding and regulation of a large number of ligands and receptors are important mediators of normal and tumor cell behavior, such as proliferation, differentiation, migration, and adhesion. The specific structure of GAG chains and their binding proteins influence tumor cell proliferation, metastasis, and cancer progression. GAGs such as heparin, heparan sulfate, chondroitin sulfate, dermatan sulfate, and hyaluronic acid serve as key biological response modifiers by acting as (1) stabilizers, cofactors, and/or coreceptors for growth factors, cytokines, and chemokines; (2) regulators of enzyme activity; (3) signaling molecules in response to cellular damages, such as wound healing, infection, and tumorigenesis; (4) targets for bacterial, viral, and parasitic virulence factors for attachment, invasion, and immune system; (5) regulators of neurite outgrowth; and (6) anti-inflammatory agent that limits oxidative damage after tissue injury.

In the snail’s body tissues GAGs are primarily located inside granules and in the shell, and are secreted onto the surface as a fluid viscose material. Snail glycosaminoglycan tightly binds divalent copper cations (Cu 2+) and form copper peptides, with skin regeneration properties. The concentration of copper in the snail mucins is notable, but copper peptides have been shown to be active in nanomolar amounts.
